Nature has always been my second home.

Nik (2004)

From a young age, I’ve been drawn to the outdoors, fascinated by the rhythms of the wild.

My journey into wildlife photography began in an unexpected way—through fishing. I developed a passion for understanding animal behavior, learning to predict their movements and patterns. However, as my awareness of animal welfare grew, I decided to leave fishing behind.

It was my grandfather, an accomplished nature photographer, who introduced me to photography.

Over time, I realized that the majority of people lacked awareness of the incredible wildlife that surrounds us and the wonderful habitats they call home.

This realization fueled my commitment to showcase the beauty of nature, creating images that inspire a sense of connection and respect for our wild neighbors.

Immersing myself in wildlife photography, I’ve developed my own creative approaches, constantly striving to evolve and refine my craft.

These days, my focus is on photography on my doorstep, but at certain times I also like to travel to special places to experience the unique spectacles of our natural world.

My faithful companion Appa supports me on these trips.

Now I have a simple idea.

Teach people on photography and help people to see the beauty of nature, appreciate it, and understand why it’s worth protecting.
